ONLINE 10th 9am Textile Surfaces and Mixed Media Workshop

An experimental two hour workshop focusing on exploring materials - This workshop is less focused on a finished product and is more about the idea of 'exploring and freeing up' The session is designed to push the boundaries of materials and inspire you to create exciting textures and surface. Experiment with white stitch on neutral papers and fabrics before applying print and colour. Then use these backgrounds to create your own selection of exciting samples by exploring bold decorative embellishment and finish with contemporary couching and textured embroidery.

This online workshop will take place live on zoom. You will have the choice to work alongside me or watch my demonstrations and work away from the screen.

Materials are not included and a list will be sent out 3 weeks prior to the date.

Starting at 9am May 10th Ending at 11am Uk times. This time has been designed for Uk participants and countries up to 12 hours ahead of the Uk.

No experience needed. Suitable for all.

If the workshop is cancelled by Emily you can choose between a full refund or to join a new date offered.
