Loughborough Textile Landscape Workshop
Join me for a calming and creative Textile Workshop at The Arc in Loughborough on Saturday 11th July
Held in the main hall from 12:15pm to 4:30pm, this hands-on session invites you to create your own unframed mixed media meadow landscape using layered fabrics, hand stitching, and beautiful embellishments.
Working on a sturdy base, you’ll explore texture through slow stitching techniques such as appliqué, couching, and embroidery. You’ll also incorporate watercolour paint to add depth and softness to your design—so please bring an apron or wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
With step-by-step guidance throughout, you’ll learn how to build rich, tactile scenes inspired by wild meadows, gardens, and natural landscapes.
This relaxing workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced stitchers alike, offering a peaceful space to experiment, unwind, and enjoy the creative process.
